"Lambeth" Piping Skills with Wendy Kromer
CLASS DESCRIPTION: The gorgeous, decorative border lessons covered in this class will give you a basic understanding of the methods taught by the late Joseph Lambeth, in his inspiring book, The Lambeth Method of Cake Decoration and Practical Pastries (1934). Wendy has used many of Mr. Lambeth's methods on cakes featured in Martha Stewart Wedding magazines, and for her Clients. These lessons, combined with Wendy's sense of design, will inspire & guide you to a more advanced level of piping skills. Please Note: This class will focus strictly on "piping techniques", and will not include working with Rolled Fondant. Experienced students who'd like to work on Fondant-covered tiers, may come to class 1 hour earlier, to cover their tiers w/fondant. Fondant may be purchased ($4.35 per pound), or students may bring their own. Students will need to bring their own suppiles to roll out their fondant. Tables will be provided. Students wishing to cover their tiers, must call 419-609-0405, by August 27, to reserve your space. Those wishing to cover their tiers must arrive at 8:00AM to cover your tiers. The Lambeht Skills Class witll begin promptly at 9:00AM. We Offer Delivery and Setup |
Do You Ship Wedding Cakes? Yes! We ship our wedding cakes throughout the USA, and can set up international deliveries when necessary. We hand deliver cakes throughout the Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Indiana and Illinois region. (We have a $45 per hour delivery fee, and this fee is based on a round trip.) If you would like to have your cake delivered outside of this area, we can arrange to ship your cake by air. All of our cakes are hand carried on and off the planes, and held in a safe area until they can be picked up. Wendy can also be available to fly with the cake and set it up on location, if necessary, for an additional fee. |
