Students will work with rolled fondant, gum paste & royal icing. Techniques covered will include: covering cake boards & dummies (rounds) with rolled fondant; creating "tisers" between tiers; crimping; embossing; wuilting; brush embroidery; applique work; drapes & bows! In addition, Wendy will share her tips on safe packing and transportation of Wedding Cakes. Sutdents may take their cakes home for future reference. A Certificate will be provided, upon completion of class. Basic Piping skills and some experience with Rolled Fondant is helpful, but not required.
